Frequently asked questions

Can I talk to an AI girlfriend by voice on Swipey AI?

Yes. Voice messages go both ways: since 17 September 2026 you can record one in the chat instead of typing and she answers every one, and her replies come in the voice you chose. Real-time voice calls use that voice too. Both are Premium ($7.99 a month), and calls also use hearts per minute, with the rate shown in the app first.

Is text chat free?

Yes, basic chat with Platform Models is free, permanently, and so is building your own character in Create AI. Premium ($7.99 a month, cancel anytime) removes message caps and adds voice messages, voice calls, character-consistent images and video scenes up to 60 seconds.

Is there a live camera call with an AI girlfriend?

No. There is no live camera call on Swipey, and in our reading of the category there is not a real one anywhere in 2026. Swipey offers real-time voice calls in her chosen voice, character-consistent selfies with inline editing, and on-demand video scenes up to 60 seconds instead.

Does she remember what I say?

Yes. Memory is persistent across sessions and devices and shows up as Memory cards in the chat, with a Memory Details view added on 27 August 2026. Voice calls are summarised into memory as well, and every conversation moves her through ten relationship levels.

What is Group Chat?

Group Chat is a room with two or three characters, including your own Custom AI, in one conversation. You set a location and a scenario, and you can request photos and video scenes inside the room. It shipped on 27 August 2026 and is a Premium feature.

Can I practise conversation with her?

Yes. Openers, follow-up questions, pacing on voice calls and warm exits transfer reasonably well when you drill them on purpose. Keep sessions to about fifteen minutes, ask her for a one-line critique, and use the skill with a real person within 48 hours.
